Glucose is harmless and can be metabolised by any cell in your body, while Fructose can only be metabolised by your liver and produced a bunch of undesirable metabolic end products in the process. It also blocks leptin, the antagonist of in

Clickbait title and not very interesting reporting. I stopped when the author posited that Buffet was treated "like a Kardashian" by the press.

I'm not so sure, CS is essentially a new blue collar job. There need to be lots of computer programmers, but they don't actually need a university education in most cases, so in countries with working vocational education tons of

I think that is true for most German speaking universities. I know for a fact that both Unis in Munich and Heidelberg basically teach PhD level courses in Undergrad in the sense that there is no Graduate Electrodynamics and Undergraduate El

I think you are missing the point, you don't need to get 2.2 bn to migrate to your new platform, just "strongly connected components". This is why for example Discord or Slack can exist even though they have some overlap with

I like how they do very good engineering (just straight C++, Swift, with little to no external dependencies) with a very small team of apparently very talented people. Most of their products are typically owned by one or two people. It'

That must be why almost any time an EU related thing was put up for a popular vote it was rejected by the people. I can think of Maastricht, the EU „Constitution“, which was rejected and then rebranded and simply put up for vote 2 years lat

You know I would be happy if the Linux community produced one working desktop environment instead of 2-10 different versions for each component depending on how difficult that component is to implement.

I can only speak for myself, but I wouldn't touch a system controlled by Google with a ten-foot pole. The amount of information they have on me is already staggering, no need to give them the last few percent, too.

It is 1/4th of Toyota's or Volkswagen's revenue of one year, so not that much. And last time I checked they did not create a game for recruiting tech talent either.
