This is probably best learned from a good lecturer. There is a lot of background on field theory required to make this click.

Why should your value system of what is and is not a productive mental activity apply to someone else? I'm going to go waste some time with my kids.

The real tragedy was that people were implored to chop down blighted trees. A few of those may have had genetic resistance that could have kept the species going.

I live in a ski town on the North side of Yellowstone and we're quite happy to cater to the tourists. There is nothing demeaning about providing good service that people are willing to pay for.

The bulk of Wyoming is quite desolate and the touristy places have high real estate costs. Your ideas wouldn't help Wyoming citizens.

I saw an AR demo earlier this week using a google cardboard type setup with a phone screen and it was fairly compelling already. Based on this cheap setup I'm confident we'll see something mind blowing in the near future.

The "per request" model is seriously limiting. I work in the mobile app machine learning/analytics space and per Monthly Active User makes a lot more sense for that market.

Peer-to-peer only ever made sense for popular stuff that people won't pay for. By definition there is little business opportunity in markets where people don't want to pay.

Companies that sell access to live video have two primary concerns: 1) overall user experience including seemless play and video quality 2) customer support burden During a huge scale live event you can't afford to have more than a ver

BitTorrent Inc was ethically shady from day one. Call me old-fashioned, but the investors got what they deserved by trying to profit off of piracy while pretending to be legitimate.

There are quite a few of us here with some farm experience that simply don't think this product ads up. Its like posting an article about a $50k Linux distro aimed at coffee shops.

You're right that situations are individual - but actually the water distribution side of things can be fairly generic. But note that drip tape is incompatible with tractor-based agriculture and will only be used with perennial or labo
