Companies are amoral optimising for shareholder value/return. It's not that they don't want to pay tax, it's just better for shareholder value that they don't.

If this scenario isn't a good reason for provisioning an internal 'cloud', either on-premise or co-location, I don't know what is. AWS, Azure, and GC are horrendously expensive for what they are. Especially for long-live

If you're worrying about what format you're writing documentation in, I'd offer the actual motive is that rather than actually writing documentation you’re finding excuses not to write it. Just write a text file. Pretty it u

Alas most people are incompetent when it comes to cryptography. It's another of those situations when if you don't know why something has to be done a certain way, you shouldn't be included in that decision making progress.

I found out in 2006, just as the EU allergen labelling directive started to really kick in properly. Bread has come a long way. Pasta is brilliant. You can now have pizza! Gluten free soy sauce/tamari is available! Fish fingers Sausag

My early version one (4Gb version), was terrible. I had to buy a fan (thank pimoroni) to stop it thermal throttling. It was quite poor in performance (youtube tearing a lot, usb keyboard issues, freezing occasionally) I hope when I plug i

If you only have one camera you could be okay, running two 720 mjpeg streams over usb2 can be quite problematic ;) Do you know what codec and resolution is in use? What about the lag? What model of camera? I'm curious because my CCTV j

Same in the UK, you get at least £30 from your contactless card/Apple/Android pay. Some shops do more, an increasing large number allow a larger limit. However some large shops (Tesco) only allow large limits on their own payment

Sorry, but according to news sources a coalition of non-US vessels are doing the bulk of patrols out there in the strait of Hormuz whilst the US is only seemingly wanting to lend 'command and control' style support. Elsewhere the

I'm quite happy with the two UK Navy frigates patrolling the area. The UK has a significantly smaller defence budget than the USA does. Which kinda proves my point.

I have always found coding interviews weird. For example, you don't ask a carpenter if they know what a dovetail joint is. You don't ask a bricklayer on which brand of bricks he prefers, or how tall his last wall was. You certainl
