I talked with a shipping guy a while ago - they are used to paying "fines" of 25K up just to pass through. He also said that they never arm the ships - it would just lead to escalation and he did not want his crews harmed.

Yes, but coming up with a non binary data management system (ie: one that uses a bit in four states) requires a whole new language of machine code before you can get the quark to talk. Making one bit of info is still thirty years away from

Good God people, Why is this even a discussion ? If this Muppet is taken seriously - maximize the wealth of shareholders ABOVE ALL ELSE, then why not shoot rival fund managers? Invade small countries? You are either ethical or not. There i

It irks me that while the story is interesting and potentially inspiring, the idea that this guy has a god fixation means I have to disregard it. Why don't these people do double blind studies (in this case with MRI) to find out if what the

This is an interesting post but I would suggest that comments about suicide in general are on a different discussion post. When talking about a specific individual compassion and respect is called for.

The guy seems like a quantum fanboy who does not understand what he is talking about. Isn't data management separate theory from the hardware - ie: using smaller objects to make computers does not change the management of the data.

It could be a photo but the keypad is fake. The image shows too much smooth colour distribution to be an unmodified photo. No sane product designer would propose a keypad execution like this anyway. There is a massive ergonomic difference b

I sort of agree with you, but I would only up vote to show that the topic / comment was interesting, even if I did not agree with it . Up/down voting because i agree or disagree is arrogant. If it makes people feel better, bully for them. T

Leaving aside whatever "gifted" means, why bring additional challenges to people who are ahead of the curriculum? It frees them up to explore being people. Having the freedom to create your own challenges is much more important than some mi

For the size you are proposing, anything other than a few resistors is out of the question. Depending on the concept though, I have seen prototypes made on watch PCBs if they can work using an existing electronic design. The trade-off is as
