All power to you but I know if the choice was between a Bosch and a Samsung washing machine, it would be the Bosch one every time. Too many gimmicks, poorly designed software and cheap plastic pieces.

I don't know how true this is but I've heard the older diesels (2000 era) actually had lower NOx emissions than the newer models due to them running at lower temperatures as they weren't trying to hit newer regulations on par

I don't think that's true anymore. I've blocked my Chromecasts accessing Google's DNS servers and then just fall back to the ones from DHCP.

I haven't attempted that setup however I've got a Nginx server acting as a reverse proxy which implements DNS-over-TLS. Android 9 has support for custom private DNS servers so I just point it to my home IP and works great, no adve

Well they'll also have to put up with 30 miles of lorries as ports are overrun. I'm sure through all the chaos though, people won't connect the dots.
