It’s just the model. You might tangentially download the code to train a new model from scratch or update the model you received. The important bit is that the training data is HUGE and the model is not.

You don’t need the training set available to run the model.

We do fixed price contracts but in my experience the accounting works out such that the partners leading the work are incentivized to negotiate internally to get the best people they can, not maximize the margin with the cheapest folks avai

I do consulting. I’m always confused when people state that hiring new grads from top universities, having established frameworks, and having experienced people lead projects is a bad thing. I love hiring new grads.

I’m laughing at the image of dudes jerking it in a dark room thankful that porn has freed them of unwanted relationships.

No half life is very dumb. The aliens invade using largely small arms weapons. It is called the 7 hour war because a guy surrenders on behalf of earth after 7 hours. If anyone imagines fighting alien invaders with small arms they’re already

That’s dumb sci fi logic though. Aliens don’t need deep ocean FTL fuel. If you can move matter at the speed of light, you have the capability to kill everything on earth very easily.

And how do our machine guns fare against a single ship traveling at the speed of light colliding with the earth?

Teeth aren’t exactly the top priority but stem cell research could regenerate vital organs. It’s very much an area of active research. It’s just hard.

Breakthrough Starshot is about sending a couple grams of tech on a multi decade journey. We are very far from having the tech to do this. You’re right. They don’t technically need to be FTL capable. But the rest of it remains. You’ll need

Utter nonsense. This would be a FTL alien civ. A civilization with many orders of magnitude more energy available. And manufacturing capabilities. And AI. And many other things. They’re not gonna send a stupid balloon. They’re not going to

People need to understand that if you’re being attacked by a FTL capable alien invader, you are so incredibly f**ed that it just does not matter. People don’t write popular sci fi novels about realistic alien invasions because they would be

Seems like a stretch to imply holding police accountable for brutality is a due process issue.

Then it’ll be found and the consequences of having launched a nuclear weapon at the United States will be incurred for no gain whatsoever. That is to say, 0% chance. That would be unfathomably dumb.

The problem with police brutality is not that it’s commonplace, but that there are no repercussions for it. If blatantly abusive cops were held accountable the issue would not be as problematic.

Imo I remember it very well. At least conceptually. History is the hardest. I took 11 AP tests, 3 of them without taking the class over two years. My teachers were generally not PhDs but think these classes were better than my undergrad cla
