People can do 2kW for a little while, you need closer to ~50kW or really really big and light wings. At which point your 200lb of battery's and moters bump that to ~100kW.

Business cards are hardly ideal. But, knowing that someone now has your correct contact information, because you just handed it to them is worth something. The problems only really show up when you want to keep several addresses at the sa

That's not really true. I bought a i7 2600k over a year ago and no better CPU has come out and it's price is virtually unchanged. So while waiting less than 3 months for the next Intel CPU is probably worth it, last year I knew I would hav

Edit: I don't work with such things, but posting the first version of this felt unwise so I cut a few things. Stinger's cost ~38k and are not guaranteed to work so multiply that by the probability of failure. You can buy drone control syste

The thing about drones is you can build them cheaply enough that it cost the enemy more to shoot them down than it costs to build more of them. Instead the military has decided to simply make fighter planes that don't need pilots but that'

"Top Secret" projects do share information with other "Top Secret" projects and over time many things do get declassified. IMO, the real problem is drones are simply more useful and a lot less expensive but chances are they can take a fai

The fact that Chrome added incognito window is a good sign, the fact that there is still no flash block is a bad one IMO. Honestly, I think gmail and search are probably more dangerous when it comes to privacy. People can track the inform

Thanks for that, I suspect infection is still probably a more serious risk overall, but a 4+T MRI does give me pause. PS: Then again at 10T you get to fly so it may still be worth the risk. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=A1vyB-O5i6E ;-)

I use chrome on an 64 bit Win7, i7 2600K with 16GB ram and a 35/35 FIOS connection and plenty of flash sites slow things down to a crawl. Honestly, I cant help but wonder what exactly some developers expect people to use.

Flapping wings do not simply vibrate vertically. Wings are hinged so they can greatly reduce the amount of air they push back up on the up stroke and to generate significant amounts of lift it takes a really dramatic motion. You can see ho
