This is a marathon, not a sprint. A normal retooling for an auto manufacturer appears to take 8-10 weeks. They should be in time to save a lot of lives.

It's not a 1:1 write per message, it relies on Kafka offset guarantees to batch messages into S3 at a configurable threshold, 256MB per S3 object is common.

I think you're wrong -- containers aren't ready for legacy enterprise, VMs are a better choice of abstraction for an initial move to cloud. Get your data centers all running VMWare, then VMDK import to AWS AMIs, then wrap them all

I agree with you -- we have little idea how much labeled information is encoded in the genome either. I rather like to think of the genome as the most well trained model of life we have access to.

What do you mean, content fragmentation? You just search for what you want to watch on Telegram and pick your preferred resolution for your device and bandwidth. As an added bonus, there's usually better localization available, too!

I went through a brief period where I ran out of disks and reformatted all my disks with compressed filesystems to eke out another 300kb of usable disk. Later I went back and tried out a wide variety of compression tools, I preferred .ARJ
