Yeah, I think that's a significant part of the explanation. I'm not comfortable with sharing the photos, though, to be honest.

The clothes thing was a huge motivator for me. I was at 2X (in US measurements) and was about to burst out of those :) (edit: I neglected to mention, congratulations. It's no small feat to lose weight.)

Thanks for the kind words. That's a fair point, it might be warped, although the micro-optimizer in me is leaning towards just losing more weight and seeing if I notice the change after some more progress. One thing your comment remind

Sure. For context, I started about 150-160 lb overweight, meaning that many lbs away from having a BMI in the normal range. I was very obese, BMI in the 40's, I think. I started out by just restricting my calories in my diet (1100-1300

I didn't have surgery to lose weight, but I lost >110 lb via diet/some exercise and I feel similar to the people in TFA -- things haven't changed as much as I expected. For me, a big reason is that my overall body shape is

Yes, let's focus on the business and forget all about the product, which just so happens to be ubiquitous today, used in most developed countries and 10,000 cities, and people use "Uber" as a verb the same way "Google&qu

Not to pry into OP's personal details, but I'd try some "moonshot" lifestyle changes if you haven't done so already, to see if anything helps fix your health issues. Keto diet is one everyone raves about, but it abs

Towels/blinds outside the window? I live on the top floor of an apartment building. if you'd like to volunteer to hang those up, I won't stop you. (Those sound like good suggestions, in all seriousness.)

As a counterpoint, I did most of the recent AoC after grinding leetcode for work -- I felt like LC was much more efficient. I wouldn't prep for a serious job interview (FAANG) with just AoC.

Same boat. I also recently got my 1st license, relatively late. I will miss being able to break the ice by bringing up my learner's permits across multiple US states.

For me personally? 0%. I just do simple copy/paste, scatter plot, sort asc/desc... not a heavy user of hotkeys. I had some trouble finding the Chart button at first since the icon's different, but that was the only issue.

After checking this thread, I downloaded Libre on Windows and played around with it a little, to refresh my memory. My main use case is just working with some personal spreadsheets in Calc, no complicated work stuff. I wouldn't say fea

IMO those odds are literally zero. Do you think AWS or Azure would get canned because of a single outage? There are lots of customers on GCP, and Google also appears to have a pretty big buy-in already -- just look at all the regions they h

Apologies if this was already asked -- I saw you guys already showed benchmarks in AWS itself, but would it make sense to have some benchmarks outside of AWS (or run benchmarks in a VM with Redis/DF/Keydb installed within)? I ask
