It's already moving that way with Huawei AI chips.

You are saying that like it's some kind of rag pull. This is situation of the market. The people who moved still saved the money and are still saving money because Hetzner is still cheaper and they are also paying the old prices. It&#x

The reasons really doesn't matter. As long as they are in top of price/performance/quality nobody will switch. Once they stop to be then people will think about it.

It's a bummer. He used to be pretty private I think in past year he started to show up in some questionable podcasts. I suspect it has to do with promotion of his AI project. It would also fit why he is here... founders fund? really?

Just from basic logic this has to be false. Maybe there are some translucent t-shirts that are SPF 7 but my skin always reacts much more to sun exposed parts that have SPF applied than it ever did under t-shirt. And no i use high quality SP

That's kinda what i was going to. I had the impression that post soviet russia was much more geopolitical - support anyone destabilizing west. That included often completely contradictory support.

Is cynical? I see lot of mocking in the comments but the video is basically saying to focus on the uncool older stable stuff and use that for stability. The very not recommended path there is to jump on hype of AI chips and fund some random

It's not only HN. You can see big tech media hate against any effort europe does. Everybody is mocking europe for building 10 years old chip fabs or their measly small unusable clouds or bad startup scene. It's interesting because

Sounds like the Linux is still the least worst? There is at least possibility of having secure and quite independent machine. The question is not about distro, it's who does the support and how it's all put together. There are big

The US models have just different political alignments. Just one example being Israel x Palestine conflict. Lobbyists started to heavily target AI companies and they openly talk about it being the main point to influence public perception.

It might be best editor on linux but running it on linux is not easy. You basically need pick correct hardware pick right distro. It might be pretty easy on the oficial rocky linux but on other distros good luck. Also no AMD support. I am p

Creatine is one of the most studied supplements in fitness and i don't think there ever was evidence it was harmful. Then again supplements mostly create expensive pee.

It's strange to put it like “we invented 40hour workweek”. It was extremely hard fight won by cooperation of many levels of the working class. The business owners absolutely didn't want it. This would have to happen again. But the

So what's your point? AI is justified because users use ad blockers? The whole situation including the ad system of the internet is made by the same corporations. All of it. They didn't even want paywalled content on the internet

And not be able to use it on your phone or share it with people you work with. Vaultwarden is the way. Easy to host docker. Solid. And if bitwarden blocks the clients there will be a fork. It's leading to it anyway.

Total sleight of hand. Ad blocking has always been a problem for creators but it's aimed at big corps - non-creators. The creators asked people to support them other ways or turn off the blocking. And it's not like the little ind
