I don't consider Chromecast as being part of IoT. Chromecast is mostly used as an internet media device, whereas I usually interpret IoT as slapping Internet capabilities on traditional appliances (light bulbs, fridges, whatever). Curi

Fair enough, I thought you were speaking more generally since the next sentence was: > I may be opinionated, but I've done concurrency in many languages and never ever have I seen anything less readable than coroutines.

To follow up on my own snark: > Do people use coroutines? Yes, but not in production code. Now I'm wondering if I'm the one who's confused. Either the author has also never heard of Go or goroutines don't meet his

If there's one product whose website can probably get away with not caring about mobile, it's a power-user text editor from the 1970s.

The response crew comes and secures the legs on the barge immediately after landing. They bolt them down somehow, I think.

Even with perfect mouse control, the AI would still be limited by the viewport offered, which is a tiny sliver of the map, and the refresh rate of the monitor, which would be at most 120 FPS I'd think. Information gathering would have

I believe the current target with only Stage 1 being reusable is $40MM/launch with the Falcon 9. Currently a F9 launch costs in the neighborhood of $60MM. These are both cost to the customer, not to SpaceX.

There's a lot of neat work going on in this space because Docker support on OS X is pretty lackluster out of the box. My team and I built Dusty[1] to try to solve many of the same problems, though we seem to be operating at a bit of a

How do you keep getting paid in a system like this though? It seems to me like it'd be a lot easier to come up with 100 FanDuel accounts than 100 bank accounts, mailing addresses, credit card numbers, etc. to get paid with.

The target isn't people intentionally trying to down planes with drones, it's people ignorantly flying in restricted airspace without actually meaning to do any harm to anyone.

I think the idea is that you can achieve compliance through fear of punitive action without ever actually having to punish anyone (in an ideal world). Before law: "I'll just fly my drone around this airport, it's not like I&#
