As a raw beginner that tried this book as the first I'll say that it's frustrating to try to learn with it. It explains something pretty well and then suddenly there is a big knowledge jump that you must fill looking at internet (

Very nice job! I would like to see how each station is hit by arrivals and departures. There are stations that have much more traffic than others and it could be cool to see it in real time. For example people arriving to Oxford Circus at 9

I find useful for tube conections, although it's really(really) slow and more confusing lately. I've been unable to find a useful bus route with google. But maybe it's me.

They are usable but they can be improved quite a lot, they are too general. The night map is specially bad.

The biggest pain I found living in London (that can be solved in a week) is bus lines visualization. I find almost impossible to visualize the route of a bus, much less to combine two routes to get to a point. The official site gives line n

A very good private party DJ(He plays for artist and actors) told me that if you want people to dance, the volume must be very high. As it was my party I told him to do it as he saw fit and indeed almost all the people (200) danced. Then on

Honest question, would steel rust just by liquid water, or vapor and oxigen in the air will make it rust eventually?

I´m airline pilot with 16 years of professional experience, I spent my first 3 to 4 years as a pilot looking outside to see if I could see a UFO. Of course I didn't see anything strange. But I am routinely fouled by Venus. I've o

Is still a military zone, but has no strategic use now a days. It´s just a museum, were you can visit the old fortress and a coastal artillery battery from the beginning of sXX that used the only Vickers 385/45 remaining from the times

I highly recommend to visit Hôtel des Invalides war museum in Paris. It´s worth the time just to admire the collection of (huge) scale models of the fortified cities in the France of the S XVIII. They are impressive and show how the cities

As a complementary curiosity, an Airbus A320 has 575 buttons and knobs (that includes alphanumerical pads and double knobs), and 364 circuit brakers. I had so many kids asking how many buttons there are at the cockpit, that I finally spent

Don't be afraid of all that complexity, most of that swithches are used sparingly or at all during each flight. The ones that get more use are the common flight controls and navigation aids (FMC, autopilot, etc...). I'm airbus 320
