Just tried it on a program I had lying around and PyPy3 2.1b1 took about 37 times the time that PyPy 2.0.2 takes to run it. So, yeah, some performance regressions, but it's still great news that Python 3 support is here!

Maybe this varies from country to country, but in Mexico "escalera" means ladder, and "escaleras" means stairs (or the plural, ladders, with context disambiguating).

I didn't try building it from source, so I didn't know about any difficulties in doing so. I agree that that is a serious issue. In particular I wonder if patching Scintilla and Lua is really necessary... About opening files and n

I would call that hacking in Elisp, not on Elisp, which is why I asked.

There are definitely other programmable text editors available. I use Textadept, which is like Emacs with Lua and minimalism instead of Elisp and evrything-but-the-kitchen-sinkness. Of course it doesn't do nearly all that Emacs does bu

Try textadept! It is structured in a way similar to Emacs: small core in C, most functionality written in Lua. In my opnion the only thing better about Elisp than Lua is that it has macros, everything else, from scoping to speed and corouti

What does hacking ON Emacs lisp mean? Does it mean working on Emacs's lisp interpreter's source? Or on some project written in Emacs lisp?

I do that too, with textadept & Lua instead of Emacs & elisp.

I don't think you understand how Undo Send works. You don't have to wait when you send an email, as soon as you click send you are free to do whatever else you want.

Maybe you mean functors instead of endofunctors (an endofunctor goes from a category to itself)? But that's a minor quibble, the main problem is I don't understand which categories you mean? What are the objects and morphisms? My

split(' ') and join(' ') aren't quite inverses of each other, but they are adjoint. Do you mean you think they are adjoint functors? How are they functors, between which categories?

I disagree, I found it very muddled. For example, how are split(' ') and join(' ') supposed to be adjoint functors when they're not even functors?

I think Facebook itself has the memory leak: I never leave it open for more than about an hour at a time, but I've heard from people that leave it open for days that it can take up between 1 and 2 GB; some of these people use Firefox,
