Let's hope the people behind the dance show maybe get word of how this copyrights defender company used the money they gave them to protect their brand, realized how bad this publicity is and fire the Rights Hero team.

Last I checked a lot of the consensus were that the Dat project was more mature than IPFS and that it had some advantages over IPFS (such as not using as much resources to run). How is it now? Is it more mature? Even though I actually even

Was thinking of writing this years Advent of Code in Unison but changed my mind because of its very young age and switched to Zig instead. But I'll very much consider it for next year. I really think some of its ideas are, if anything

Since it only shows stills, could it be some kind of race condition? Don't get me wrong, the major problem is of course that it has access to other people's camera feeds but since it only gains access for what seems like a moment

Seems to be in the same ballpark as Unison which I got a bit hyped about when it was revealed earlier this autumn. The "memoize" and network foreign function parts is especially same looking, though Unison takes it a bit further.

That IGN review of KoF mentioned in the article is heartbreaking. That animation is super good. It is good enough that I was quite sure they must have had a 3D model to work with. That might be what the reviewer thought too and kinda what t

Rust uses something like uniqueness types to ensure memory management is correct, but there are also linear types and I know it has been research on that in Haskell for example. Search for Hask-LL.

Im not super sure what specific use case you are after but are you sure you can't do this in some ways with comptime generics? I have to be able to do most generic-like stuff with comptime (though I sometimes have to change the impleme

Have been doing this years Advent of Code in Zig because I've been exited to try it out for a long time now. After over the first bumps I really like how it keeps most of the simpleness and clearness of C while fixing a lot of annoyanc

Zig's comptime is a very simple and minimalistic but still incredibly useful and strong approach to generics. I think that could fit into a language like that. I many ways I find Zig as keeping the minimalism trait that Go has (which t

I don't see these as separate solutions. Running your tests in a debugger usually makes it so much faster and easier to find where it went wrong. I would argue find bugs at compilation would be a separate solution from this and even ea
