Wow, this makes a huge difference, to the point where I can type without even looking at the keyboard (tried with and without looking).

This is the reason most devs are contractors in London. You earn considerably more on a day rate than you generally do even as a CTO.

As a relative newcomer to python/data science I found it really surprising that Matplotlib seems favoured over Plotly. The Plotly API seems better designed and the output is far superior. Is matplotlib just favoured out of momentum or

What's really interesting with 3d models is that you could give the classifier motor control within it's environment i.e. it could "step to the left" and see how the banana changes in it's visual field. This would a

It seems a little surprising that GIN indexes have never been improved to allow for efficient sorting. Is this just not in enough demand to receive any attention or is there a technical aspect that makes it particularly difficult?

This is the first time I'm targeting the Spanish market so I don't have experience with AWS from there. Paris is geographically close so I imagine that would have the best latency (sorry I can't give you anything concrete).

Where’s the new one? Loving render.com so far but latency in Spain is not great.

I used SwiftUI for a side project and after 6 months binned the whole thing and switched to flutter. I was finding that a huge portion of my time was spent trying to get the project to compile (it generally just needed many recompiles so pr

I spent good year using Duolingo, I made steady progress, but only in Duolingo. It hasn't had any impact on my ability to hear/speak the language.

Having spent about 6 months each with SwiftUI and Flutter I vastly prefer working with Flutter. Swift is a far more ambitious language but really doesn't live up to it's own marketing. Many of the features are half down (generics

It isn't about note taking, it's about supporting a brain that simply isn't capable of retaining the level of information that we have to deal with. The ultimate note taking device is actually an augmented human brain that ha

Pinch zoom only works if you're over the canvas. If you for instance zoom out enough that the mouse cursor is outside of the canvas then the page itself starts zooming.

I play chess online every day. When I started on statins I lost 200 rating points within a couple of days. To put this in context 200 points would be a decent improvement over a year of play. I had constant brain fog which showed up at work

Also the moderation is often hidden. Last week I ran into one of my answers for a language I haven't used in a while. When I read the answer I thought it was odd because the english was very poor. Then I checked and found that a modera
