Disappointed, thought it might suggest class names based on the attributes that you already know you want to associate with it.

Unfortunately it's rare that you find a product listing which hasn't got a "review(s)" section at the end so this isn't an effective strategy.

I'm aware that sql was originally intended to be used by non technical business users but I've never known a single one that did. Have you had experience with people that do?

Find and replace is probably the only time I use the command line to actually modify the code. I could use a text editor to do this but favour the power I get with the command line(using ack and sed). Using the command line isn't necessary

I'm a java refugee and used to make heavy use of the refactoring tools in eclipse. It's definitely something I miss from my old workflow. Given you're using BDD there isn't really anything to be concerned about when using regexes etc. to m

I've been practising BDD for a few years now. For whatever reason I'll sometimes find myself coding without having first written a reason. You know what, I always find that I'm really not enjoying writing the code. The reason, I'm constantl

I love developing in rails but let's be clear, refactoring ruby is just painful at the moment. Yesterday I decided to rename a model, it took over an hour to get the tests passing again. Ok there's rubymine but it's only partially effective

I certainly know people that would fit into the category that they describe. I consider them massively underpaid given the amount of value that they bring to any project they work on. They act as the glue and enablers for product developers

It's always seemed intuitively surprising that there's no feedback mechanism within neurons to aid learning. What's the currently favoured mechanism for learning, neurons feeding back to previous neurons?

Looking at the sides of the channel you can see that they get lower towards the "top". I can see how the channel is flat on the floor and that the supporting vertical struts are simply cut to the correct height for the camera's perspective.

Very nice. I was a little disappointed to discover how much code was required to achieve the effects though. Having to resort to using content:"" always feels like a workaround. Not having to use images is great though, I'll definitely be u

In my previous company we experimented with "promiscuous pairing". The idea is that you swap partners every hour and a half or so. You would spend 2 time slots on each partnership, in the first you were the beginner, the second the teacher.

The spreedly FAQ implies that you need a merchant account. "How does Spreedly pay me? Spreedly never touches your customers' money - it goes straight into your merchant account." is this not the case?

As a Londoner I'm curious, is it a legal requirement to offer employees health care or will developers just not consider positions that don't include health care cover?

You're right that in theory a REST api could also be a PITA to use. In my experience though I've always been able to get the query I wanted quickly and easily. To be fair it's rare that I'm doing anything that isn't a GET but on the occasio
