I can't see any reason why we can't have both; you control the car until it detects a dangerous situation and then takes over. Sounds ideal really, you could go faster than you can now, safe in the knowledge that if things go bad

On the other end, would be cool if all of your devices were aware of each other and syncronised apps in realtime. For example the browser on your phone has the same tabs open as your desktop. The image you're photoshopping on your desk

I think it's fair to say that you have to rise with the tide a bit if you're going to use rails. The projects I work on tend to be continuously developed though so this has never been a pain point.

This is it. I'm blown away by how productive I am with rails now. A couple of weeks back I replaced an entire backend, complete with an oauth provider, record versioning, caching etc. and it took 4 hours! And all done with the usual TD

One of the biggest problems I find with people adopting TDD is that they create one test per class. This was never the intention. The idea was that you test units, which may be a single class but equally may also be an aggregate made up of

The strange thing is that this is how everyone begins to program you write a little code and get something working. Then you add a little more, reorganise things a little and keep going. It's a natural process that somehow gets trained

I think the point is that the drone strikes are happening in places where the US isn't even at war. They're just bombing any place they feel like and apparently not having a pilot sitting there seems to make it ok, or something...

It's saying that the "turn" happened in an unspecified time but less than two nights. Because the unspecified time period is a continuous variable you can't use fewer (which is used for discrete values).
