The assertion that TDD is a solution to dynamic typing falls apart when you consider that the TDD dogma was born out of Java programmers. I won't argue that Java has the most expressive type system, but it _is_ statically typed.

The reason I hated Docker Desktop was simply that I needed to spin up a VM which used up a bunch of memory (yes it's configurable, but I don't want to mess with that. I don't have to on Linux!). I don't believe the podma

A personal favorite of my father was a NY Times correction of years' past. It went something along the lines of "Previously when reviewing $restaurant we discussed the half cooked chicken. The actual menu item is called the cooked

I have been through a process that took 4 months, from start to end, with almost two months of silence between. The only reason I knew I wasn't rejected was I had a friend on the inside.

This could be done without an acquisition though, no? There are a bunch of games on Game Pass from non-MS studios. They just need to draft an agreement with Activision, which would be far cheaper and less monopolistic.

This reminded me of Storybook, and someone mentioned it on the blog post's comments > Both in Codux and Storybook you isolate your components and render them, but this is where the similarities end :) . Now within Codux you can dril

Yeah, most folks in C++ would just use an std::vector, right? I guess if you wanted to use the modern abstraction of std::array, it could be a problem, since using `operator[]` on a non-existent element produces UB.

Really? I found the trackpads great for it. The default mappings are honestly quite good; I made some minor adjustments, and in general it works. The only thing I didn't like was that the in-game tooltips didn't tell me what the s

I guess at some company scale that would happen... you'd probably need pay someone to do onboarding for you (so you're not immediately flagged as a no-call-no-show), then you could go AWOL after that?
