The A15, it's the Highway to Hull.

In my house if you leave a glass of water on the side a cat will jump up and start drinking it/playing with it. I use a Brita filter instead.

GTA 3, Vice City, and San Andreas too. And you can use a Bluetooth controller.

You don't have to have the leather and chrome, it's usually an option.

Depends on how you start your car I guess. My car is also a BMW product, but it was a big toggle switch on bottom of the dashboard for Engine on/off. Pulses red when it's ready to start.

I know how car without a synchro works, the first car I ever drove was a 1950's Land Rover. Watch the video, it works exactly how Engineering Explained describes, he even explains the benefits.

Not sure why I got downvoted here. It actually blips the throttle. It's not the syncho, trust me. http://www.minif56.com/forum/353-mini-cooper-f56-forum/7010-... It's not the first car to have it either,

More expensive and a lot more unreliable too. I know of several people who have large repair bills for DSG boxes.

European here, only ever owned manual cars, had about eight cars in my lifetime. Never needed to replace a clutch, mostly a mix of urban and rural driving. My yearly mileage has varied from 25,000 miles a year to around 8,000 now. It helps

It's funny, I just got a new car (manual, of course) and it has "rev-matching" so when you shift down a gear it automatically heel-toes (basically a throttle blip) which means there's not much engine braking going on dur

I also find it funny that people prefer autos for stop-start traffic. But every single car I've ever owned can be moved using the clutch alone, zero throttle input, so moving in stop start traffic is easy.

I'm in the UK and if I lived in a bigger city I'd have an auto, but since I live just outside a small city I keep my manual because I like the feeling of driving. For me driving and automatic is just not as fun.

Extra battery in the floor of the trailer? Hooks into the car and gives it some extra juice, why wouldn't that work?

Yep, they spend £600m a year on management consultants to tell them things they already know. Enough to run 8-9 large hospitals. That's public money going to the private sector for no real benefit.

It's actually a lot safer in places that are more congested and have a lot of stop-start traffic. For example, here in the UK, if you sit at the back of a queue of traffic on a motorcycle a truck might not see you and rear-end you. Get

Not really, there are phones out there that have two SIM-card slots.

Not sure I like the idea of the state being so heavily involved in this process. Then again as a UK citizen they probably have access to my phone any way.

Sounds like you've only dealt with older cars here. Newer ones give you directions on the dashboard and I've never even seen a system that doesn't give you a 3D map.

I'm gonna call bollocks on that one. Maybe some are a little iffy (around the airports of Florida perhaps), but I'm not sure you realise how close/cheap to reach Europe is and how many folks will hire a car out there too. You

I guess it's the same issue with a lot of crime in America (let's face it, when you're behind the wheel of a lethal weapon, not paying attention is murder). It's hard to police a place this is so bloody massive. I'v

I can tell you that is doesn't work. I used to ride around on a very loud yellow motorcycle, my light on constantly. I would still get stupid cunts pull out of junctions directly in front of me and often have people open car doors into

Zero emission at the tailpipe. Plus even the most filthy coal power stations are more efficient than your current petrol/diesel car.

Euro Car Parts in the UK does this too. Infact you can even put your vehicle registration number in and it'll do the work for you.

Surely any electric brake would fail closed? Just like air-brakes on large trucks. That would make them safer right?

Why worry about that at all? If it can deliver within 30 minutes why not just tell Amazon when you're gonna be home?
