   funny how people feels supportive of some companies based on very loose national links. If you think companies have a national interest at heart (I will make an exception for Chinese), I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell to you.

   Now, tech is a bit like pharma. The big companies work like investment funds and buy any promising upstart to maintain an oligopoly.

   after decades in Silicon Valley, I think that execution matters much more than the idea. Uber was not alone, Amazon was not the only bookstore, Google was not the only search engine.
