I kind of like it. I've worked in contexts where the "decision makers" write terrible verbose copy. It would be nice to quickly see "but here is what the data shows" For that matter, forget mechanical turk. Get some really bad ass copywrite

Awful headline, fantastic article! You can just see it in his eyes-- he's a hacker at heart.

Too much white space, not scannable, poor font color/contrast, no indication of what is a link until you hover over it... ...nothing that couldn't be rectified in about 10 minutes of CSS dabbling.

Yeah, the problem is they have TOO MUCH video. The s/n ratio on JTV is so high that pirated channels are the only thing worth watching. I'm sure there's some good content in there, but good luck finding it. Their launch was brilliant (I lov

I've been working in the music/touring space for 5 years. There is no alternative. TicketMaster/LiveNation is remarkably evil and I can't wait to see them perish, but it won't happen by traditional "alternative ticketing" websites -- they a

I've always really hated vehicle emissions testing. It's evil. The government colludes with the auto industry to force perfectly fine but slightly older vehicles off the road. And 90% of the time it's not even related to emissions--- some d

Nooooo, there are a WHOLE lot more full-time people now. Meh. I suppose being terminated provides good incentive to go full time?

This does prompt an interesting question, with repositories like github where there is a built in trust model, maybe this will actually be the norm at some point?

Apparently you've never tried one of those timeshare vacation deals, huh? I'd rather be waterboarded than fight those sharks.

Human Tamagotchi. Stick 3G webcams on people in poor foreign countries. Throughout the day you open your iphone app and can send them voice commands or use the joystick to move them around. Feed, train, etc. Maybe a $149/mo subscription or
