Manyverse’s work on room servers version 2 will be huge. The rooms will function a lot more like real life buildings. Some will be private like homes, some will be public like libraries, others will be restricted like a club. Really cool de

The biggest issue is actually recording the time, to be honest. An ex-coworker used to set aside 2-4 hours every Friday to just do timesheets. Some set aside a half hour every day to get them accurate. It strikes me as cruel. But in any cas

> There is another downside to this system: people have to track their hours. Some people solve this by billing 20 hours a week, even though they may work a bit more or a bit less. Others track it diligently, in 15-minute increments, and

I like Session[1]. It's snappy, simple, and built on an onion network like Tor. Their private group chats can handle something like 20 people but I believe that this will expand in the near future. Plus they expressed interest in using

One random thing I love about Threema is their slow release development cycle. It seems like they only do a new release when there is something big, and then all the tiny little changes are bundled with it. It makes the app feel more stable

You’re just mistaken about how the system works. That’s why you think it’s worse than Facebook. A Star or Galaxy can’t delete your planet. Not like Facebook can. You are a true “land owner” on urbit. There’s a lot of people that got unperso

You’re not answering the question. Is it possible to delete or not? On GitHub yes someone might be watching, but deletes are still possible.

I agree, but is it possible to delete at all on ARWeave? Let’s say someone accidentally puts their full name and address in a repo.

Flutter does seem super cool. I agree with you too about it being easier to focus on mobile first. The problem is the ecosystem is small. If your use case doesn't fit their widgets, you have to do a lot of workaround stuff. Although th
