Good to hear it, cheers. I’ll be keeping a close eye on this once it launches, but I suspect I’ll see about getting myself one asap.

Using Teams on Safari on a maxed out M2 Pro machine proves to be a ridiculously slow affair. Moving between sections takes ~1s, ending a call makes the sound crack for a few seconds in the most broken and awful way (while locking the UI in

And haters love a conspiracy. Truth is, no one has the full facts so any reasons as to why this was made the way it was is pure speculation. Only a fool would move to condemn or endorse what is not yet fully understood.

Teams is one of those apps that I wish would just leave the realm of the living and never come back in any shape or form. Terrible, terrible app. Peak Microsoft lazy design.

The hate comes, deservedly I might add, from a lot more than just dropped calls. Terrible UI. Horrendous performance. Bloated apps. Confusing UX. Completely broken integration with the desktop/browser. Teams is an absolute mess.

I’d be hard pressed to call the Xbox UX “polished” in any way, but I do get what you mean. Though as long as it allows me to play my games with as much ease as the games themselves will allow, then I’m good—I just do not want to be bothered

It’s just so wildly vainglorious and egocentric to think that you WILL be the object of sexual interest of other people in any given situation. Besides, if this is how you think about yourself and the world around you, then you really have

There most certainly is. This is not Steam’s default refund procedure in the slightest. I’d be willing to bet they were abusing the system somehow and support caught them red handed.

“Pay my way or take the highway” is as close to the closed-source ethos as you can possibly get. Collaboration is not feasible if the barrier of entry is too high and those involved make no effort to foster a collaborative environment.

Graphic designer here. Adobe’s products are the golden standard in the industry and are often the only products used by entire graphic teams, being the odd one out using Affinity’s or (heaven forbid) Corel’s tools makes collaboration diffic
