I don’t mind ads in the videos for creators I enjoy, it pays their bills. There’s a difference between those and YouTube’s ads which the creators don’t get a big percentage of. I can easily fast forward those ads if I want to, anyways. How

Yea the shadow data for my area is hilariously wrong. It’s missing a whole forest that shades my house and a road nearby.

Well, the things I said were proven in open court with evidence and witnesses, and today the verdict came in: 34 guilty counts. You just claimed a bunch of stuff without any evidence, so I’m not sure what your comment is worth.

Which of Trump’s rights were violated for SCOTUS to grant cert? Otherwise, this is legal case law today which will be referenced in the future no doubt.

He paid off a woman whom he had an affair with to not talk about it during the election. That is election tampering. He then falsified business records to cover this up. It’s a classic political coverup and bribery case. I doubt it would ha

He’s the first president in history to be convicted of a felony. This particular one is related to election tampering, where he paid off a pornstar that he had sex with while married to not tell the story during the 2016 election season. Se

So answer my question, how do I know the Waymo sees me? With a human I can tell 90% of the time where I live (we have tint laws and stuff). I can’t see trusting that a robot sees me, otherwise I guess I’m just giving deference to them now?

With a human I can look at their face to see that they see me. How do I know a robot sees me? Do they have indications that say “I see you and won’t drive” like a driver looking at you in the face and waving?

All the AI demand software s today isn’t AI, it’s just some mathematics and basic algorithms, but it’s better than nothing which is what’s there today mostly. Source: I work in this area. Also: I’m looking for work!

Based on history I’m sure we’ll have sentient AI slaves at some point if we get that far. We won’t even know it’s sentient at first until we figure out it’s suffering or something. Then it’ll take a decade or two to do something about it, a

Every story in here, for or against cannabis, basically has no evidence. A lot of stories about people who went nuts when they took weed, but no studies of if the weed caused it or just revealed it. A lot of stereotypes for people who took

The ice cream analogy was stupid, that’s what I think. Ice cream isn’t a virus, it’s not even the same stakes! Do 1/100 to 1/250 people die from new ice cream varieties?

I live in a place where masking isn’t a big deal, people wore masks all the time before covid if they felt sick to prevent transmission. During covid, our rates were quite low, and the rates of countries like Japan where they mask routinely
