Rock is so well known as a thermal insulator that we build buildings from it (brick, concrete, stone blocks). I don't think it's going to help much with your heat transfer problem.

It’s funny, the same folks who complain about seeing political stuff constantly are the same ones saying that in every political thread. Almost like they aren’t being honest, just flagging stuff because they’re neoreactionaries trying to ma

My favorite thing about electrical theory is that all this business about flow of energy going from + to - is the idea of "electron holes" flowing, instead of the actual electrons! Basically all of electronics and electricity uses

OpenXR is basically the standard for VR these days, not some "dork dream of openness". Also, I don't get why you're being a hater, there is no point to your comments other than to shit all over my initial comment for zer

I guess I didn’t work for my health insurance since it’s a benefit then? What kind of nonsense are you talking about, “they didn’t work for their pension”? Clearly I’m misunderstanding what you’re saying because that would be stupid as fuck

I might have been excited about the Apple Vision Pro if I could, in addition to the features it has now, hook it to a PC and use it as a standard VR headset. Imagine that you could use the onboard processing to enhance what's coming fr

Now financial instruments like pensions are stealing? In what way? Those workers worked for that pension. It’s funny how the top wealth owners have vacuumed up more and more wealth and you’re mad at the regular Joe working a 9-5.

Are you mad at the pensioners, who worked for decades on the agreement they’d get a pension, or are you mad at the oligarchs and businesses who lobbied to make pensions a thing of the past so that you’re not protected as well? You should be
