What's wrong with using Rails to run your blog? If your website is built on a given web framework, it is often more sensible to run the blog on that than to introduce a standalone blog engine.

Wow, who would give a program like "iCloud" access such that it could wipe your mobile, tablet, and PC? I hope the author can recover his data, but it sounds like he set himself up for disaster by linking all his systems so strongly.

I like to flip a book open that I'm considering at a store to random sections. Not one of 20 pre-selected pages offered in some online shop, but just random places, so I can see if it's my speed. This has saved me from purchasing many (seem

I think you and I are saying the same thing, but to be clear, this was "common sense" on CLJ long before mainstream libraries adopted the practice.

Regarding #2, regulars on comp.lang.javascript have been saying this since at least 2008, notably in critiques of jQuery. Resig even posted to some of these threads defending jQuery's misbehavior (though I don't recall if he defended browse

As a starting point, your logo is confusing ... I thought you had used some fancy unicode "F"-like character ... but you are substituting a ? with a "-" for "F"? Seems off.

This isn't a reason at all ... if I'm trying to sell web software as a product and not as a service, there's a very good chance I'm going to write it in PHP, and neither myself nor my customers will care that PHP internals lack documentatio
