Depends on your data, you don't want your company IP or your bank details held there. But they are hardly likely to pass onto the FBI the fact that you read the wiki article on Marx and so might be a security risk.

Thats not ignorance so much as politics. In Japanese history they were the victims of WWII, their army went to china as a peace keeping force and then they were nuked.

Except most of the email ran on internal company systems. To email an external address took a lot of scripts to convert to x.500 or !-path addresses In the early 90s I remember mailing copies of our /etc/hosts to other places we worked with

Well you can always lie to immigration and do anything you like. The real problen is if you do come from a visa-waiver country - it is almost impossible to get a visa, because everybody uses the waiver that if you try and get a business vis

Even more difficult to go to the USA to hear a talk. You can be invited to give a paper at an international conference and be allowed in no-problem. But is there is a workshop session where somebody is being paid to give the talk you can at
