I think this could increase the kilowatt/person ratio and still be a net win for our climate. Eating less meat as a society reduces our reliance on animals, which as husbandry reduces so does the methane output. Methane is a significan

Has anyone made a site yet detailing all of these horror stories? Paypal's behavior is unacceptable and needs to change, yet years later things still seem just as bad for their customers.

Comparing Edge on Windows to Safari on macOS is apples to apples. Browsers running on an OS. I d be really interested in this comparison, since Apple's big selling point is being apple to specialize since they control the hardware. If

Slack is currently using 144 MB on my Windows machine (with a lot of public channels and DMs active). Electron may give up some performance for a lower development effort, but that's the known trade-off. I think you're making it s

You're criticizing a released project for their technology choice, advocating that they should have waited to build it until some other tech was ready... Maybe take a step back and just appreciate that they built and shipped something.

Maybe I missed it in the article, but why is this only present on x86 chips? How do 64-bit processors from Intel offer the same management functionality without this ME subsystem?

Swipe left for widgets stuck out to me as an Android origin. They were first with widgets, and they introduced the swipe-left-from-homescreen UX.
