Second this, I would love to hear how companies handle S3 outages. Although one correction, it's 0.01% that you need to handle (if they deliver on their availability promise). That's less than an hour a year.

This title should only be "news" early on in the design stage. Were they not trying to prevent hackers from commandeering cars before they released them? Also as others have said, airgap the systems.

Probably not the place to bring this up, but I am having so many issues with Netflix app on xbox 360 lately. I'll hit play on a title, it'll load to about 15%, then stop and take me to the "choose profile" screen. Anyone

No I found that, but it switches back pretty often. Can't find a pattern, it's annoying.

I would not be excited about my ISP offering these extra services. I just want them to be dumb pipes- deliver my data without messing with it in any way. That should be their only business concern, and all innovation efforts should be spent

Don't know where I've been but this is the first I've heard of ag-gag laws. Absolutely absurd, bordering on unbelievable. How has this crap been passed in multiple states?!

3 days? I make it 2 weeks in a 20 year old car. Sure, if you're doing a lot of driving it won't last 6 months. But for typical everyday use, I bet that's not an exaggeration (certainly not for my use).

In my experience (C# & Java), Eclipse's autocomplete doesn't even come close to Intellisense. Not sure if that gap is any different with Python.

I've never used emacs so am completely ignorant. What makes emacs superior? All I know is the speed that can come with keyboard shortcuts.

I work in Visual Studio exclusively for my day job the last 8 years so my experience is pretty limited. But every time I try out other languages and IDEs on my own time, I'm almost shocked at how hard the tools are to work with compare

I'm a .NET developer so to me this is a slam dunk. How does the Python crowd feel though? I'd guess the majority tend to be Microsoft-adverse. Why wouldn't you use VS when it seems to be so ahead of the competition?

6 months of free storage is a no brainer business strategy. Once you get anywhere near 100PB of data loaded, are you really going to move it elsewhere after 6 months?
