What if dissidents are using your service because it's outside their country of origin and they get disappeared because of it?

Lack of evidence is not proof they aren't doing it. You can still say there is risk of it and ponder how much risk that means. There's definitely some concern of Chinese hardware.

You make it sound like a unique situation. Everyone seems to want everything and not pay for it. This is just a ship example.

Some companies aren't lasting brands. Mine happens to fall into that category. Nobody has ever given a shit about my logo except from that post. The service I provide, if it does its job well, is something you never should need to go b

I got my company's logo on Fiverr and wrote about the experience a couple years ago. Quite happy with the result honestly. It offended a lot of people then (feel free to read the comments), and probably still does today. But I've

Why not both? These CMS/Shop communities offer distribution for a service. It fits well with the theme. I mentioned WordPress because it's the obvious 800 lb gorilla in the space.

This doesn't seem quite right. It says reservists. They may also have roles in civilian life, but they are also part of the Military. That seems a bit deceptive in the title.

I think 2 has potential for the CMS community (thinking WordPress). Security plugins are quite popular. It might be something worth exploring if there was demand from some of the hosting companies to license it.

Hard to prove anything in a blackbox. But domain registration length is something most people think is considered. Take a look at http://www.searchenginejournal.com/infographic-googles-200-r...

I have http://gamedevelopers.com and it's interesting to see what other people are doing with similar domains. I never had any real luck turning the site into a business.

When I was on Comcast, I felt like they were doing this to gaming traffic as well. I have no evidence to back it up except anecdotal experience though.

I love this. All of what I presume was happening behind closed doors is finally getting put into the light. If only there were serious options for consumers to act on based on the information that is coming out publicly.

Something about downloading a giant unknown zip makes me uneasy. Reminds me of all those phishing/malware emails with attachments. edit: no idea why I'm being downvoted.

You must be confused. Stay-at-home mom doesn't mean can't leave the home. In many parts of America, you cannot go or get anywhere without a car. That includes basic things, like grocery shopping.

I imagine the discount on a lopsided game is because the teams stop really playing. After 3 goals or so it's generally a done deal. So you start to see players pulled, playing very differently (conservatively).

I often watch other developers look to make their lives more complex by trying to solve problems which aren't there. Why? Because the obvious solution is simple and boring. In any other culture that would be crazy. In programming cultu
