Fair enough. I seems like a terrible decision from the start. But to me that connects deeply with people shipping stuff. If you're all learning the intricacies of some new tech, you're probably not shipping as much as you could be

Seems like an odd caveat. Why would you pick something nobody on the team is good at? Who made that silly decision to begin with. I'd expect at least one person is good/familiar with the language chosen.

Isn't the math he's going through the exact kind of math we don't really believe? Market size is X, if I get Y% market share, I'll get $Z.

I'm not sure I have the moral authority to weigh the good and bad things the US government does and choose which it does more of. I think we agree on just about everything else. Local government is good, it always starts local.

I don't understand this perspective of if you're willing to work for the government you're joining the dark side. If you aren't willing to work freely to make your own government better, what good are you as a citizen? H

It always saddens me to read about coworking spaces like that. I think it's probably rare and takes a lot of effort, but coworking that builds real and lasting relationships does exist. It's not common and I think your experience

In this example, why would you want the lowest common denominator? It's not always about quantity of eyeballs. It's about quality when you're managing a brand appealing to the best and brightest.

If that is the downside, perhaps we should stop catering towards the absolute lowest common denominator.
