Is it based on hyperlinks? I ctrl-f'd on the c-18 bill and there was no reference to "link". I would imagine the law is more about using the blurbs from the news outlet, not the link itself.

No, it wasn't. What part are you even talking about? Israel was at war with all of its neighbors 5 years before Kissinger. The clerics were poised to take power in Iran since the 60s. same thing with the baaths in Iraq.

I briefly chatted with Chris Hitchens a few times, and during one of them, he extolled the virtues of never, ever reading a book jacket, or foreward before reading the source material.

First, it is no natural light in the room where your bed is. Munger never said humans don't need natural light in general. I imagine a few cavemen beating up the first person to build a two story house, because anyone who thinks humans

Why? For the most part, people are overweight by choice, not by some unavoidable draw of Coke. Not to mention that they have a ton of zero or low calorie coke options that people could choose.

Sure, you can avoid it, but it's nice to be able to discover new restaurants you may enjoy without fear of being duped by a ghost kitchen in a restaurant you know you don't enjoy. There are over 1200 restaurants that doordash will

The problem is when the ghost kitchen is hiding the fact that you're ordering from a restaurant you don't actually want to order from. You might be 100% certain you want pizza, and you don't want Dominos. But, you see "M

It won't melt quickly once reaching warm water. There's a huge amount of volume contained by a fairly small surface area - this iceberg would last for years in the Caribbean. A better idea, if you can tow it, is to tow it to one o

A common lament among the dead 15 years ago in real time online gaming...low ping bastard/bitch, basically just saying the only reason you got the kill is because your ping is 60ms and mine is 250ms.

No, I don't give a shit about Charlie. I do dislike uninformed kneejerk reactions though. No, the bulk of the criticism has come from uninformed joes like yourself. Some architects have spoken out against it, and some have spoken for

Has any group of students ever decided how to design their on campus housing, or has that 100% of the time fell to a licensed architect?

Every time Munger is mentioned here, this comes up. If it's so obvious to every random joe with exactly zero experience designing buildings, why did Charlie ignore it? Have you actually considered his design, or is this just a kneejerk

Yes, just going on a walk can be boring for a child, but you don't need to just walk through the woods. You can go exploring, dig for treasure, climb trees, play hide and seek, build a fort, etc.
