I was a religious user of Airmail until it went subscription, Mimestream seems almost as good. It feels incredibly lightweight, it uses almost no RAM, and it has that 'cool' mac app polish.

This is a sad summary of the state of the web. Do you think if there was more focus on protocols it'd fix it, or is there no way back to a better web?

On my mac it makes the fans run so hard it sounds like it's about to take off, it seems pretty lacking compared to native. Edit: Although it's been a long time since I tried it, this could not be true anymore.

I’m running it on decently nice hardware, but most of the pages take around ten seconds to load. I did some investigation and it sure looks like it gets to 100% cpu usage and stays there frequently. I’m wondering if I have PHP misconfigured
