Calling YouTube a social media platform is a stretch. Is Amazon a social media platform ? The reviews effectively are the same thing as YouTube comments.

Can I run Linux on it ? I almost feel like being able to completely rebuilt computer technology from raw materials should be encased in a book somewhere. Hypothetically if we dropped you and 100 other engineers in the woods with metal worki

A good friend of mine lives in Asia off 400$ or so a month. If I was to retire near him I'd be able to make a million last for a very very long time. Whoever says 200k isn't a lot of money is full of crap. You can live very well o

Did you ever have a chance to make that money again. Or do you still have to work. I think the average tech founder has quite a few failures before he or she strikes it big ( if ever )

If I want to dream of anything, I want to dream of an economy which moves from trying to grab eyeballs to focus on screens. I want the harm of social media to be known and for people to take back those billions of hours they waste per year.

I absolutely love the ink team, for releasing this. They have a fairly decent Unity which is free and is more than good enough for creating basic narrative games. It would still probably be a good idea, to have a good grasp of unity before

I wonder if in the future we'll see talk about different programing styles. I recall one of my co-workers making fun of Notch being a bad coder. Which begs the question, is the best code the code that ships ?

Even as a fairly educated person , I'd assume voting for this would led for layoffs. The employees probably want to keep working after all. The exact legality of Amazon laying off unionized warehouses is very complex. I'd rather e

I could see this being something that gets implanted towards the end of your life. Hypothetically let's say I'm 90, I'd love to be able to jack into the matrix to play with my grandkids.

Hypothetically, if I can hire a PhD candidate and give him a million bucks to tweak the sensors for my brain specifically. Could he or she then make this like a joystick. Is the issue that there's so much variation between people.

Remember that job offers get pulled all the time, and with that in mind I'd go ahead and accept the current offer, but let's say another offer comes through and it's a $50,000 pay increase. Feel no shame about reneging on the

I can imagine Apple adding a social media free option to IOS which by default disables anything like Instagram or FB from being installed. I'd absolutely love this if I was a parent. Hell, I'd pay extra for a phone with this optio

In general I don't think I'd be comfortable using any type of engine or framework which is solely developed by one person. Let's say he goes crazy tomorrow and decides to camp on the beaches of Jamaica. No matter what you do,

People take out loans for IPhones in the US too. You also have bizzario phone deals where if you pay 2 to 3x as much for service you can get a free IPhone. I personally buy a phone for 300$ or so every year or 2. Right now I pay about 30$ a
