I would be curious if anybody feels that such a tool wouldn't be too much a danger as spyware. In particular from a Chinese developer.

Panpsychism doesn't strike me as particular helpful. Everything is emergent once you move beyond the lowest levels of physics. I think the best approach to consciousness is to consider it a feedback loop of certain brain processes into

I used to be a big proponent of Google Drive, but they have fumbled over the last years. The client is now crashing randomly and during shutdown blocks Windows erratically. Worst, they lost the ability to sync pictures to Google Drive (from

I just meant that Google is focusing more on their AndroidTV/GoogleTV way of doing things (apps on the TV) than continuing working towards casting from mobile devices onto the TV. This lack of focus on Casting is certainly causing it f

I hate how Chromecasting is being phased out by Google over GoogleTV (or whatever they call it now). Just playing from your mobile phone alleviated this issue perfectly. Now Netflix for instance hijacks your cast command to force a login o

People don't hate Teams. It is competitive enough against Zoom and Google Meet (which is the worst of the three) for people to use it for video conferencing. As a slack competitor Teams is arguably worse, but for people who haven'

One important thing which isn't mentioned in the article is that you need at least 1m EUR/USD to become a company with a medical device. So you better have a plan to to raise such money, spend and recoup it with revenues.

Auth-pass thru is impossible/impractical with OpenAI tool API, because there is no way to identify users. Thus even if users log into my website first and I get their OAuth there, I can't associate to their OpenAI session.

OpenAI isn't offering a viable product as it currently stands. This is why we only saw toy usage with the Plugins API and now with tools as part of GPTs. Since OpenAI wants to own the front end of the GPTs there isn't any way to i

Many interesting API usages must be bound to the user and must be payed based on usage so must be tied to the user. OpenAI doesn't provide ways to monetize GPTs so it is hard to justify spending on behalf of the user.

OpenAI doesn't give you a way to identify the user. And even if they did, it would be poor UX to have the user have to visit our site first to connect their API accounts. I also imagine many tools wouldn't run under the developers

I hope they put a bit more effort into this compared to OpenAI. The most crucial things missing in OpenAI's implementation for me were: - Authentication for the API by the user rather than the developer. - Caching/retries/tim
