I wonder : what are those new paradigms perl6 is introducing? I learnt ruby in early 2000', way before rails, because I was attracted to its "it's 100% OO" concept. Now, I use golang, because background jobs have progres

The single most important advice I could give you is : take whatever path/framework you want, but take it seriously. Javascript has a long history of not being taken seriously. In early 2000, it was considered a malware language, that

I love the radical shift around documentation that is played on, here. I won't switch from my usual languages to use Eve, obviously, but there are super interesting ideas in it, I will watch it closely. Did you consider any niche marke

Sure! I'm already under contract half time, and I work on my own company for like two full time, so I can't be a big contributor, but I contribute here and there to open source projects, so I can look around from time to time. >

Hi @it33, Sorry I had to say that, I know how depressing it can sound. Note that we're in the context of recommending examples to someone wanting to learn about react, so there's an expectation about finding the best code around.

As much as I'm reluctant to blame people who try to get cool products out there, I must say that I actually uninstalled mattermost from my server (well, deactivated from gitlab) after reading its source code, both go and react. I would

I love the addition of async `getInitialProps` (more for being async than getting props, would be as fine for me as getInitialState). The logic for rendering loading screen in a component can quickly get tedious and annoying, such a pattern

Anyone has any idea which hosts desktop spotify app is trying to reach? `netstat -punta | grep spotify` tells me they are on those IP:port : * 151.101.120.246:80 * 194.132.198.50:4070 Problem is, I don't know what hosts this is suppose
