Seems to me that this is exactly the problem. The python team is saying they really can't maintain these libraries to a high standard and need to remove them from the standard library. I can see both sides but really that makes a lot o

It's true but most people do not have the luxury of being able to focus on a single task each day until done. If that is a requirement for you I'm not gonna knock it but I feel it is rare to get.

This has already been done. I have friends and loved ones who never got to work from home. They were not living in a dystopia. You are just using extreme language to further a political point.

I'd hardly call it a dystopia... That's some hyperbole. It wasn't great for a lot of people but far from a dystopia. QoL went up in the US by many measures (I know the US is not the world).

What clover? Would love to do this even though clover is really expensive. I planted some last year but it only half kinda took.

Some things are obviously wrong, I know how to tell right from wrong. Do you not understand how to?

No, it makes sense as a question, I think. Maybe it doesn't make sense to you.

I'm pretty sure the issue is that they won't make a wedding website for a gay couple. In your example they would still serve them, just not the exact product that you want. Making a website for a gay couple and a straight couple r

I think we're talking on different wavelengths. I'm not saying disproving something is an invalid way of operating. I'm saying it is not required of people to disprove things from the start, it is required to try and prove th

I always feel this is a little unfair. Sure, a Python program and an R program, written the same way, using the same data structures, etc.. is going to usually show the R program is faster. But getting to that point is where the challenge i

R doesn't give you magic code. I have worked on several projects where my job was to rewrite the R code that took over a day to run in Python. Each time I was (fairly easily) able to get to a place where the Python code ran in < min
