Fedora strikes a pretty good tradeoff on the “is user friendly” and “has latest tools regardless of system version” balance, I would say.

Well, the idea is that you’d be writing low level CUDA kernels that implement operations not already implemented by JAX/CUDA and integrate them into existing projects. Numba[1] is probably the closest thing I can think of that currentl

Technically speaking, all of this exists (including the existing library integration and whatnot) through CuPy and Numba already, but the fact that it’s getting official support is cool.

I don't think it's his textbook though, he's just asking people to find specific novels to have a discussion on (and the students are just using SparkNotes).

I considered this for one particularly hard to find book and it turned out it would have not cost much more to just buy the textbook compared to printing it lol

Well, the comment you replied to talks about classes where books are secondary to better sources from which to learn the material, like lecture notes and other sources.

To be fair, belts and phones aren’t the same things. Belts are popular now because wearing them is barely an inconvenience compared to the improvement in safety - abstaining from phones is way harder for the average person.

I don’t think it’s necessarily that either. They probably just want some guarantees that the app will keep working, instead of someone submitting 100s of wine apps and having them break eventually.

The modern Word suite’s basic format was introduced with Word 2010. So as long as the person who created the doc uses features that were previously present in Word 2010 they’d be fine. Features from later versions will either not show up or

I feel like using units of rate (90% faster) and not units of time makes more sense here. Plus, if you were using units of time, you wouldn’t use the word “faster.” “Takes 45% less time” and “45% faster” are very different assertions, but t
