Someday the iPad developers will realize that users want to access their content from several different applications in a compatible, centrally accessible manner. They will want to combine a picture from Hipstamatic with a song from iTunes

Arguing with the faceless Apple executives via the internet is wishful thinking, whether you succeed or not. Also, you don't downvote comments because you consider them wrong or refuted, you downvote because a comment was not beneficial to

This isn't really a refutation of what he said. If enough of the proverbial sharecroppers complain, it MAY be worth it for Apple to improve conditions. You are still at their mercy, however. Also, it's ridiculous that people are voting raga

Why? Is there something special about using 555's that I don't know about? A 2 bit full adder is a really simple circuit...

I apologize for the confusion, but that still doesn't change much. See these papers on Nemerle: http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/events/sscli2005/pachols... http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/um/people/moskal/pdf/msc...

I'm predicting an HP-Palm/Nokia combined effort. HP and Nokia already collaborate, and webOS is the closest Nokia will get to an existing "ecosystem" that they could thrive in. Palm has crappy hardware, and awesome software. Nokia has excel

No you don't. You made this post to feel pompous and self important. There is almost nothing serious or business related about reading hacker news (although in general it is good, rewarding, and fun to stay up to date). It is entertainment,
