I guarantee you they do not "just like" foreigners in STEM. I currently live and work in Asia and the growth in the region (particularly China) can be orders of magnitude that of the US. Just looking at Vietnam, you went from 0.25

The head of my (STEM) course at a university in the top 5 of most global rankings (not Harvard, though) once told me casually (I am white) that she was upset at the high percentage of Asians in her course since they were "great at test
