Isn't that what this discussion is about? The OP said that it costs the taxpayers $1. I don't know about this specific situation - but the claim does not seem to be about paying directly for things.

I mean...it's possible for something to be both significantly less bad than something worse and also still pretty shitty.

You know this happened 500 years ago, right? If someone did this today and had that death rate, I would absolutely agree, but the challenges then were drastically different. No, not everyone made it, but those who did were the first to circ

I hope they clean up Blizzard. It's been sad to hear everything - my best friend growing up got a dream job there a few years ago, and it's sad to hear how his childhood dream got crushed by a toxic management team (he loved just

Sorry, I should have been a little more careful with my wording. You are correct in that there isn't a direct quoted link. But, Netflix raised subscription prices to pay for more content...obviously paying 250 million to Apple (for bas

One would (likely) have the biggest impact on their own children as opposed to other children, but by volunteering for various organizations one can impact far more kids than the few in one's own family.

Beyond caring about the larger issues at play here, the way it can effect you is if you have to pay 30% more for every subscription because companies need to account for paying Apple so much This is not theoretical. In 2018 Netflix would&#x

I mean, I get your point, but I need to refill my car at some point and there are plenty of gas stations - so why not fill it up early to take care of it?

A little extra reason to refuel your car sooner rather than later is that the fuel pump will be stressed more as the tank approaches empty.

I know that Mixpanel is very event focused, and it seems like the question is more on page tracking, but surprised that no one has mentioned it. Has mixpanel fallen out of favor or is the lack of mention because it's a bit out of scope

Hey, random question from someone who isn't a parent, do you have any read on whether home 3D printed legos are cool to kids? I guess it's hard to match the look and 3D print the majority of your pieces while buying special boxed
