Grab a digital ocean VM for $5/month and call it a day. Should be enough for all your (legal) torrenting needs.

I'm sure it will be resolved by instead giving out ChanServ ownership willy-nilly.

This is becoming more and more widespread, Atlassian is another company doing this. Although their case seems to be one more of incompetence than malice, since the issue page loads, shows you the entire page, then redirects you to their SSO

Sure they can. Ban all legal exchanges, continue auditing income as usual usual. Bitcoin will still exist for illegal purposes, but that's fine.

How are people tunneling their console over the zerotier vpn? I assume this requires zerotier to be installed on the gateway, which is a bit beyond most users sadly :(

Wow, absolutely pathetic. My company was evaluating this for pair programming and testing new hires, but just binned that idea. If anyone from replit is reading this: This is costing you business. Jetbrains Code With Me looks quite nice.

This Google employee responded to a question. When looking at the question and answer, and the actual resulting situation, it is pretty clear what's happening here.

The user explained it was Matomo, a Google competitor, and the worker responded with "No, that is not allowed.". Seems to leave absolutely no room for interpretation. It is not about the URL, it is about Matomo.

Then why would a Google worker (not a machine, but a real life human) tell this person that using their competitor is not allowed? Did you read the screenshot?

Even worse: The stakeholders in the companies that decide to have contact forms are generally not very technical. They probably never successfully installed a mail client in their life, so it's not very surprising they don't opt i

Sure, great, let me just rebuild all my docker images on every single machine they run on thereby completely defeating the point of having images in the first place.

Yes, it would be immense. Many gifs have been used for user interface elements and such a change would break that completely.

Sorry, why would you believe the words of bad actors who are known to lie? Can you be absolutely certain this isn't simply a continuation of their twisted "experiment"?

Sure and if we coddle everyone then there will be no more "race car drivers" in the next generation, because they won't have had the opportunity to use their no-longer-general computers.
