If you span some ten-thousand solar panels in e.g. Northern Africa your problem is not the loss of energy because you have far too much green energy. Same is true for nearly all summer months when it comes to photovoltaic on the roofs of ho

Who said that batteries are the only way of energy storage. Hydrogen is discussed because of that. And yes, energy production also need to switch to reach CO2 emission goals.

With all my love for .NET, why not continue Java with its new features when it fits to your developer base, existing products etc. Give it one or two more years and Java is where C# is ... also aesthetically. As did JavaScript.

Awesome but today this would be a different story line ... maybe: two old conservatives (Java and C#) re-inventing themselves to fight against the hipsters (Go, Swift, JS, ...) ;)

Because syntax highlighting in JavaScript is (presumingly) not covered by LSP but by a generic syntax parser. And these updates take endless through the supply chain pipeline. And as a side note: LSPs are not exactly free these days anymore

You need to keep the UI responsive, so you hand off all resource or cpu heavy work off the UI thread, give back control to rendering and responding to user input ... and later need to collect the results in the UI thread to change the UI st

I just posted parallel to your post. What is your positioning of mermaid (and friends like plantuml) vs. visually crafted diagrams? Textual editing, auto-layouting, little work, obviously, but where is the niche compared to visual editors.
