C# using config files? If you want (and use the default template). Otherwise (and minimal apis) the code looks closer to the go model. Argh, I am to trigger happy.

I do not follow the argumentation. LSPs are created for text editors. They are focused on lightweight text editor presentation. If you want to expose AST, you either start implementing clients again (defeating the original purpose) or you s

Ever wondered why c suites use their own hardware, separate accounts and do not participate in cooperate platforms like SharePoint? I think privacy (for different reasons) is a key part in that.

And your privacy. Just because you own a knife does not mean you can stick it into someone's body.

No. It would be better if the standardization groups would have done that, but not when every developer has a different scheme

Yeah, and C/C++ has these since three times the age of Rust. I also find them beautiful but not consistent.

Yeah but not for basic types. Also, most code mingles sooner or later with other code. Than this is just ugly.

Just that they are no longer black boxes (except you build them). And the model is basically the same as for all of the other SPA frameworks).

HTML will not be given up. Blazor unifies right now every ASP.NET Core UI tech (SSR, SPA, server-SPA, hybrid), so this is soon a all or nothing topic. WebAssembly is a compilation target which stays. .NET went in the last years wherever it

Blazor on Webassembly is not really slower than react or angular. Just the initial load (which is very cacheable) is the problem.

That I do not need consumer grade performance with the people I employ. Sucks but is true for internal apps.

There is now SSR with partial late loads (aka streaming) in .NET 8. That might make it applicable, but IMHO not in the spa space.

And there is Blazor Hybrid. Which is basically a electron shell / Cordova approach where a web view hosts the UI and the rest is in the regular .NET process on windows, Android, Mac and iOS. Maybe Linux not sure. It is currently a min

First: I also need that. It is a pain right now. Second: it would be a good way to rationalize to your managers on how shaky grounds they stand.

Indeed true. One of the unique and underrated strengths of C#. But "System Programming" is not exactly operating system or fundamental service writing but much more often your stock ticker broker or WhatsApp backend. The terminolo

I agree that the word "System Programming" is really bad. C# and Java modern ahead of time compilation, tree shaking and linking should make it similar to Go at that sense (as in single file, no runtime, etc). There is still a lot

But we agree that Rust is purposeful closer to C and Go is purposeful closer to Java / C#? Systems can surely be build by all of them. My memory of the origins of Go was in building services but not low level drivers or renderers.

Narrative? Nope. Too much thinking here. Elon Musk = 10k viewers / angry-emotional readers, Tesla = 1k viewers / positive readers. Elon Musk name-drop generate readers.

With communication comes knowledge. And with knowledge comes clarity. And with clarity comes fast written, good code. There is only one way to become a senior role in computer science: be good in communication with humans.

10 is a bit hard to bootstrap R&D and regain the invested money (especially when you build something over multiple years). But 20 years .. should work. Was not the original copyright for books something like 30 years.
