It’s odd that this article is titled to state that the iphone 13 doesn’t have satellite internet, but the content states that it nevertheless will have some sort of satellite connectivity. Clickbait much?

Huh, that’s kinda fascinating. Maybe it’d be worth running ml on matrix multiplication that’s approximated by ml?

I think this is a great idea. It’d let people pull the model that the page is using pretty easily, which would be great.

A motorized “bike” is loud, smelly, expensive, much worse for the environment, and bad for your respiratory system.

Frankly, open-source phones need more powerful processors. The current ones can barely handle modern websites (and before people get in a tizzy about how the web is bloated, that’s too bad and people need it to work well since there won’t b

Still, why are those okay when treatments for the causes of age related diseases are not? Humans didn’t commonly live to 90 in the past, yet we do now. An 80 year old getting cancer treatment could be using a bed that a 25 year old with COV

Now that’s an interesting take. Aside from the likelihood that aging treatments are likely to be free or subsidized by governments to avoid having increasingly old populations, what do you define as my normal lifespan? Should I avoid cancer

That looks quite minimalist to me. Obviously, there’s a lot of visual clutter from the wallpaper but aside from that, there aren’t that many _things_.

Judgement of Aubrey de Grey aside, I constantly find it weird that so many people, even on HN, don’t understand why some would want to live an especially long time.

I know people who buy a lot of stuff that they don’t need and doesn’t make them happier. I’m not sure why people do that — probably a result of advertising.

It certainly does come from a place of uncertainty. I'm trying to work in the space industry in an effort to feel like I'm positively affecting humanity, but I'm not currently having a lot of luck.

What do I even do with this information? Something I haven’t seen articles or research about is how to psychologically cope with the slow collapse of our ecology. EDIT: To the people saying to get a house where climate change will be as min
