Thanks for the tip. I actually just got a second monitor (third screen) but wasn't able to time-lapse it, so for this week I was unbalanced mostly looking at just one of the screens. I shall now rearrange my gaze targets.

Ah, right! On our bug list; thanks. Will fix as soon as we can. Server is unhappy again right now with the load.

Sending us emails through the contact form on our site (or just to team@codecombat.com) is a great way to get the discussion going. Eager to talk about how we can make this awesome for your son and his friends!

Our servers are getting hammered and the multiplayer code sync feature is now getting stuff a bit garbled up. We have a fix, but we have to take the site down for a bit to implement it, unfortunately. So when that kind of thing happens, rel

Me neither! It should be possible to build hugely different levels with it, kind of like the StarCraft II map editor (which lets you build first-person shooters, underground, or like 2D sidescroller arcade games.) I really want to get it so

I started talking about supporting the bill and the lady answering the phone (for Nancy Pelosi) rather abruptly switched me to the dedicated voicemail system for these types of calls. I was expecting her to listen to it, but I guess this wo

At Skritter, we spent a lot of effort trying to sell to schools. In the process, individual sales picked up on their own to the point where we realized we were wasting our time on the schools. It's not that it can't be done. If you can dire

Actually, we were testing it checked on or checked off by default, too. I don't remember the details, but the conversion rate drop was from combining both of those flavors.

We haven't optimized Skritter for Flash at all yet except to quickly scrunch down the layout. We just got a phone to play with, so we'll see how much better we can make it. I was blown away by the framerates one tester was getting--this is

We play a game where you think of words you've never said before and try use them in a sentence. (So if you don't know roughly what it means, it doesn't count.) It's fun because you try unsuccessfully to search for words with the weakest in

I just tried limiting the max bubble cursor radius in your demo and it seemed to prevent the unwanted gap-clicking problem well enough, while still helping buttons be easier to click. Not sure if it reduces the win in the proposed huge-scre

This is true, but should be a minor concern--you can easily ping it every once in a while to keep it hot without using very many resources. You might even be able to use App Engine's built in cron jobs to do it from the instance itself (mig

I'm on the Python end, and it's gotten a lot more stable and faster since it launched. A lot more features, too. A lot of the workarounds that we did early on to fix headaches and failure cases just aren't needed any more, so it's much clos

I love Wave's instant typing. Chat happens so much faster, and both parties stay engaged instead of drifting away while they wait. It raises the bandwidth. This kind of editing isn't something you could have turned off by default in Wave, b
