My want is for relieving pain in the body without making me feel high, I actually assumed you want it in the body not brain, as the brain effects are the feel-good effects, but really not sure or familiar with how they work.

Yes but loperamide doesn't alleviate pain, which maybe just that opioids only alleviate pain if they do reach the brain, but I did see trials for non-bbb crossing ones that were for pain so not sure what's going on there.

Looks like the antagonist is only outside the brain, so it works to counteract the side-effects, pretty cool. I wanted sort of the opposite of this for opioids - work in the body, not the brain. There's been a few attempts but non that

You can make a disaster in any framework. SwiftUI is a mess, for example, and slow. React Native took a while to mature, but with the right tooling you can ship amazing UX now. I don’t doubt there’s a ton of crap out there. But you’re wrong

I'd say most of the time it's a handful of times or less. Uniswap is a good example of a large OSS three-platform app that shares almost all the code, uses very few native dependencies, and has great UX. I maybe biased since I wor

I was trying to get 4o today to do some medium-difficulty Typescript to map between two different ORM schemas. It's a great problem because it's really not too hard, pretty well constrained, and I can provide a ton of context and

Google controls information and the wider marketplace, Apple controls hardware and a smaller marketplace, imo they're going after the right one first.

The social good would be not carving out for OAI, if we want to maintain a culture that rewards human creative output (which also happens to be what models need, so it's a win-win). The good news is it's not true that OAI can&#x

The first reply on the issue you linked seems incredibly professional and well handled, and even recommends excluding the file from backups, I can't see a single issue there.

I don’t trust you or anyone to be the moderators of what’s rational and what’s working back from what they want, though, in all honesty. Further, the people working backwards sometimes end up right anyway. I just don’t see the risk of letti

This is a "trust me bro" reply though, there are constant developments in research chemicals that aren't easily detected. I know a top-20 boxer who thinks doping is common it's just harder to detect now. Perhaps at lower

Something can be highly rated and still under-rated, which is my claim. Almost no one knows about the effects beyond weight loss, and people who do often believe it's due to weight loss or fasting.

GLP-1 agonists. https://www.astralcodexten.com/p/why-does-ozempic-cure-all-d... Beyond their somewhat miraculous effects on obesity, they seem to have a wide variety of positive effects even for non-overweight people.

It's orthogonal to the diet, I actually force myself to eat normally including eating carbs, I actually take it specifically only because it has a strong positive effect on my immune system. There's some research showing as much.

It's definitely not a fallacy that things that relieve pain can also help heal or prevent damage, NSAIDs are a great example. It mentions it may do more than just blocking the signal in the article.

Pathways that remove pain can be due to healing though, it's a mildly positive indicator.

I found some relief in the GLP-1 agonists, a surprising amount actually, and that was not due to any weight loss.

So if someone after two weeks had their semen consistency change to be completely watery, would it be their eyes that produced the nocebo effect or? Or how is the doctor who went on it for a few months, lost erections, then gained them back
