It looks pretty on paper, but it can't ever compete with a properly designed and executed product in the real world. The reason Apple can get their devices so small is the complete omission of connectors and other internal padding. Thi

I doubt anything. It's a mashup of various languages, broken interfaces and hilarious bugs. Here's some of my favourites that I've encountered in my use of their pathetic products: http://bad-adobe.tumblr.com/

The /url redirect has been there as long as I can remember. It's just well hidden from view.

By the same token, why the hell are $1000 projectors still 800x600?

My G4 Cube ran everything from OS9.0 to 10.5. That's a fairly big stretch too.

Mildly better, at least I don't have to use a workaround to get transparent PNGs to work anymore. It would be alright supporting just IE11, but you're not, you're supporting IE7, IE8, IE9, IE10, and they all have their own we

They all seem to be built on the same foundations, though the Transcend ones look to be the most popular. I've one sitting around but I haven't had a chance to do much with it except for confirming that the vulnerabilities exist.

You can use one of the WiFi SD cards for something like this. They're completely hackable, and run busybox linux. This is an early article, an other people have gone so far as to add displays and other devices to them. http:/

Doesn't make up for the fact that I spent most of my time writing workaround for the stupid rendering bugs their "30% faster" browser introduces. Even just basic CSS layouts and constantly wrong in IE.

This is it really. There's a limit to the amount of cash they can do per person per day, and this is a way to ensure people don't go over the limit.

Can anybody explain weight loss spam to me? Is it just to gain credit card details, advertising clicks?

Nope. This was tried with Bitcoin back in the day. JavaScript is far too slow, and a spammer could just blast out thousands of times the work with a single CPU running something native. Mobile users would suffer greatly too.

$3.5B for an app lots of developers could create over the weekend is absolutely incredible. It also has absolutely no income, and very little avenue for actually gaining any. I don't know what they're doing to need seed money, I c

Any service with a shared wallet would do, not necessarily a mixing service. Doesn't have to be one entity, doesn't even have to be all at once.

$3 is hardly anti-consumer. It's literally me having a 1.5 hour nap in my apartment, or part of a cup of coffee. They're also in the position of having a very restricted number of API keys they can use, which is why I imagine this
