Well, don't take their word for it. Go find the research: https://www.psychologytoday.com/blog/shadow-boxing/201704/er... You also assume that people lead relatively normal lives with porn, but what abou

> Porn is just like an action movie, only it's about sex instead of guns and martial arts. It's fun, but it usually has very little to do with real sex. Except in action movies, people don't take real ideas back to the bed

Well I get the age bit but haven’t been told why exactly things are different. Especially if this is not your first child.

It doesn't. We paid <$4K when my daughter was born for a midwife. The hospital wanted $5K before even seeing my wife just to schedule an appointment . All because she is "advanced maternal age" (whatever that means).

> Orgies are fine. I've never been to one and have no desire to go to one. The real issue here is the power-asymmetry between the men and women involved. If orgies are fine then why aren’t they part of mainstream culture? They aren’

The system works fairly well if you are poor too. I know several people who have walked into and out of the hospital without paying a dime. It really seems like the middle class gets the raw end of the deal.

I'm about a week into a ketogenic diet and I am having flu-like symptoms. I woke to my sinuses being very inflamed but no amount of sudafed or benadryl seemed to make any difference. Then suddenly this afternoon I started sweating prof

The hardware comparison is fun and all but aren’t the hackintoshes an absolute bear to keep working after the initial install?

I recently did something like that—I think I did a reset of the repo and lost all of my changes. Was able to piece it back together using local history. Took me another 20 minutes, but at least all of my data was there.

I recently had one of those holy-crap-what-did-I-just-do-I-lost-everything moments... But then realized that my scrollback had a list of files and my IDEs (PhpStorm and WebStorm) both kept _local_ revision histories and I was able to restor

If I may, a wonderful book called “The Alchemy of Air” by Thomas Hager is a very enlightening book on this very same issue during the late 1800s. EDIT: I was mobile earlier but wanted to throw a bit of a teaser in here. This book (along wit

Curious to see the impact this would have on wifi performance. Wouldn't this cause all of the really fun stuff making WiFi fast (beamforming, channel hopping, etc.) a lot less effective? Would be curious to see more information. I imag

Is there anyone else out here scratching their head as to why anyone would think it's a good idea to actually take (or otherwise) send (let's be honest, here) pornographic images of themselves to anyone else? Back a long time ago,

Trite but true. When you have an issue with someone you might at least: 1. confront them about it 2. give them a chance to fix it At best one should: 1. Ask someone to explains themselves. 2. Convey whatever you want to get across. 3. Ask t
