It could very well be different for everyone. Maybe I’m a generic bastard and Kagi doesn’t think I’m very interesting, so my results are also generic.

It’s worth giving a try. You get a good amount of free queries to evaluate the product first.

I noticed that search queries required more thought and perusal to get desired results than normal. Kagi previously would give good enough results that I could figure it out without having to think about Kagi itself. More recently I noticed

Okay. Seems our experiences are similar. The timeline is roughly within the last two months that I noticed the same.

I tried a few searches side-by-side and they were pretty much identical. I get that Kagi offers customization etc but that’s not worth the money for me personally. I just went back to Google because the results were the same.

I’m under the impression that it takes a lot for someone higher up like this to announce readiness for war. Unless I misunderstand the situation or the source, they don’t induce public panic unless it’s a very credible and possible thing. C

I recently stopped using Kagi after using them for a long time. For whatever reason, their results became pretty bad compared to before, often almost mirroring Google.

2FA definitely will protect you even if your passwords.txt is stolen, probably. I can’t imagine that trying to manage syncing and easy access to the passwords.txt is even remotely as secure or easy as something like 1Password. Services, IMO

That’s the same for me. That being said, I don’t current me enough to make good security decisions for future me based on current knowledge, so I do what I can now instead. The overhead is extremely minimal if you use a password manager.

Unsure though the OP’s laptop being stolen or a rogue program stealing their passwords.txt is a lot more likely. The providers being attacked will still require the keys themselves to be attacked since they hold the secrets.

I think the hard part is to find a way to make it part of your daily life. I've really been enjoying my Quest 3, though at the same time it's kind of just there unless I need something that only it can do. The way forward is proba

Auth0 does a lot more than just a JWT. Sure, it's more expensive and probably not something you'll need, and if you do; why? But it's definitely not just a JWT.

Pretty poor post. It highlights some issues, sure, though the author obviously never tried to actually try. Also, they say there's profanity but I don't see any; apparently the word "cyberfurz" is profanity? The author&#

You're gonna get pwned, and you're gonna get pwned hard. Brace for it because it's coming sooner or later. It's convenient until you lose all of your passwords.

The location-based pay point is valid. I’ve worked a number of jobs for international companies, earning a salary literally 4x less than my international colleagues in the same or lower roles. I do understand that some companies do this on

I use Firefox as my daily driver though the browser has an increasing amount of annoying stuff. It's added a VPN, some sort of email relay, and other random popups I never asked for.

I feel that the main value of bootcamps is the networking aspect, meeting folk that could help you get into the industry. So in that respect it’s hard to replicate from a fresh state. I would recommend that you try to learn a language on yo

How could the network effect reasonably not occur for any decently popular [socially-inclined] service? Whether or not the company does anything to encourage it, with enough users it happens regardless. Sure, it enables it. Without it, you
